In recent days, there has been a lot of news about the new Bible translation project at conservative website: conservapedia.com. Apparently, they are trying to re-translate the Bible in order to rid it of "liberal" bias. For example, they want to get rid of the story about the adulterer who was saved by Jesus when he told her accusers, "Let him who is without sin among you be the first one to throw a stone at her" (John 8:7, ESV). They want to get rid of this story because it doesn't support capital punishment.
